There's a difference between sticking out the rough times and tolerating incompetence. Rhule has shown he has no idea how to run an NFL team, evaluate talent, or put players in a position to succeed. Demanding better than arrogant failure does not make me less of a fan.

Disagree.  The defense was much better.  Get OL tooled up and run it back.  QB isn’t getting fixed outside of a miracle so wait for better options in the draft next year.  Darnold was 23 and picked high.  It was a gamble.  We tried other options that didn’t work out.  You keep working which Rhule and Fitty will definitely do.

Stop being reasonable and stuff. This is the beginning of the end.  We are all doomed.  Rhule is the worst etc etc.  Lol.  People act like the Weinke and Clausen never happened. We been bad before.

This is me pretty much. I used to care more about it and not miss a single snap. Now I just look forward to watching Rhule get fired and that’s it!

Let me tell you a truism.

As long as the NFL continues to rake in that sweet, sweet network/streaming cash?  David Tepper doesn't give a poo.

You know what is telling?  When you give your grandson some Panthers gear, which he used to love, and he is genuinely disappointed.

Even the elementary school kids get that the Panthers aren't cool any more.  Doesn't matter how much Rhule says his process is working - 1st graders can tell it ain't so.

Sounds like a leadership issue, agree there

Everyone knows that next season is a total wash, which doesn't help with excitement. We COULD be talking about a new HC right now, but instead, we know 100% of whats to come.

Also the Hornets are decent with a young star, and the Hurricanes are an elite team that's set to be good for the next half decade at least. It's not the 2010s anymore when both those teams sucked ass and the Panthers were overall pretty good. They are by far the worst pro sports teams in the Carolinas, but I expect Teppers MLS team will compete with them very soon.

Winning 1 of your last 13 games is unacceptable no matter how much “work” Rhule is doing.  I sure as hell don’t want to “run it back” with that dude at the helm, who absolutely SCREAMS apathy.  I’m not on board with the Jay-Z, 7 year plan for Rhule.  He absolutely should’ve been canned before this offseason.  Just have to pray he doesn’t mortgage our future more, or it’ll be a looooong time until we can snif any type of real success

    • Trevon Moehrig, Turk Wharton, Bobby Brown, Jaelen Phillips, Devin Lloyd, Nic Scourton Giving him 6 starters in 2 offseasons that cost boat loads of money or a 2nd round pick... Not exactly handing the man scraps. The point of the draft is to make the team better. You want to make this about Bryce. It isn't. It's about improving the team. And if anyone can look at our offense and go "we're good", they are lying to themselves. You give quarterbacks weapons. We SCREAMED for YEARS to give Cam some help. But now because we are trying to do it for Bryce, you all are saying we are coddling him because of his "deficiencies". It's a double-standard because you don't like the guy, clearly. But even if he does fail, guess what? The next guy has help too. Win-win.
    • we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least.  We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations.   We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy.  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.  If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts.  Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go.  ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now.    "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......."   Its fuging never ending.  Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
    • Tight ends in the first round just have so much risk. Even guys that look like guarantees at the position, fail. OJ Howard is a big one that comes to mind (and I REALLY liked him and thought he was going to be a stud in the NFL). I know that every player/position can be a gamble, but when you look at Kyle Pitts (he's come a long way, but he has clearly underperformed), TJ Hockenson, Hayden Hurst, Noah Fant, Eric Ebron, etc., NONE of these guys changed the dynamic of their team for the better. Zero. In fact, most of them end up being traded before their rookie deal is up. This draft has some good tight ends. I wouldn't spend a 1st on one.
