The only Vet QB I have any interest in is a cheaper rental for a year with a chance for them to start over Darnold. Fitzpatrick would be a great option in my  opinion, build the line this off-season/next, and draft a QB after Fitz and Darnold are off the books next year.

Let me just throw this out there, start PJ Walker.  That's the only way we are getting a shot at a future qb.

Since Darnold is not an option and PJ is the only qb that Rhule keeps around I say....

If Watson is the only even remotely elite QB on the market, yeah his market is going to go up for sure. If he can get his legal issues resolved Houston can likely get their rumored asking price from someone.
