Chinn’s positional value just isn’t there and I have his jersey. Burns is the one that will hurt the most imo. Id like to keep horn if this trade goes down.

I wonder if we plan on restructuring/resigning him to a different deal? Could make it advantageous for both sides, and free up some cash to fix the line.

Panthers can renegotiate his deal if he’s traded here. There is stuff they can do.

Bargain for whatever team he lands on compared to the more recent QB contracts ..... the Texans having paid ~$50m in up front money and taken the cap hit .... They better get a kings ransom in picks.

Replace able how? With first round picks? We would have none. FAs? We have no money. If this trade goes through the plan is literally field a team with 6th round picks and bottom tier FAs. Atleast now when we suck we have first round picks. Gonna be insanely painful to miss playoffs and not even have a first to help the team

      If they screwed it up, it’s one pick. Kind of like if we’d taken Levis maybe, at 9 in 2023. That is their worst case.  Would you rather do that and hit or miss, or what we did?

      He is a QB, on a rookie deal and Cousins is old coming off an achilles injury. Which QB they got is the part that is highly debatable if it was good. Yeah they could have used that on more tallent but Cousins doesn't win in the postseason so it wouldn't matter anyways. Chances are good they take the NFCS regardless this year or it goes back to a Bucs team that just breaks .500.
