some of you are going to be so mad when he is traded to Seattle, but will act like you never wanted him when they still miss the playoffs and fail to win their division

Seattle's division is much tougher than ours and Seattle is a worst team than us right now. They very well could miss the playoffs with him

They won't have to completely gut their draft capital for years to come though after the haul they got for Wilson. We would. Their cap situation is better too. They're far better positioned to build around Watson than we would be.

Hopefully bringing cam back last year will help us get deshaun here. I know he respects cams opinion

A year ago I said around here that the organization’s relationship with Cam was one of the reasons we weren’t on his list. Some here disagreed with that but it’s true.

Now his options are limited.

His trade value just went thru the roof. You all saw what the Seahawks got for Wilson.... double that.

Two things- Texans are deadset on trading him and Watson has a no trade. Watson can/will say "i only will be traded to _________ ", then its up to the texans to work out the details. If texans and team _____ can not agree, texans have to pay watson 35 million to stay home, sorta like the year before.

Doesnt matter if for example the Vikings offer the moon, mars, and great lakes. Watson can be like " nah its cold there"

In a way if he only wanted to come to the panthers and they grew a brain with offers - " 1st this year and _______ " Texans would have to take it or pay him to stay home, again..

My opinion....we don’t really have a chance. Watson has control. Why would he agree to come to this franchise if he has better options. Rhule and co drove the team into the dirt. We would have to give up a kings ransom to get Watson which only makes the team worse. We are doomed pretty much. Small market franchise with no talent around him plus word is out Rhule sucks. He would have to be certified crazy to come here.

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
