People like Sheena dont write for us, they write for clout. As fans we want someone diving in, asking the tough questions, and getting useful intel about our team.

Not finding ways to poo on our team, stan for other teams, and use their job to build a network. There is zero integrity in that.

What do you mean? Him and Darnold are on the same contract. If he revived here, he'd probably want to stay.

I dont think we trade for Baker though, I believe Macadoo isnt a fan of Baker if my memory serves me correct.

And again when he called the Falcons it was clear winning and going to a good roster wasn't his choice..

QB pay has nothing to do with Houston accepting our deal.  I am sure our trade compensation is huge.  I am talking about Watson directly.  Pull out the big guns to convince him he NEEDS to be a Carolina Panther.  former and current players, local celebs/artists, a huge pay day, say in roster decisions, all need to play a part.  Community obviously means a lot to Watson.  We need to involve the community in recruiting the most high profile sports figure to play in NC in a long time.

That's the thing though ... while he is worth more than double what Arthur Blank is, Blank is still worth 7.5 billion. His wang swing is just as mighty as Tepper's. Tepper might not be able to do anything.

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
