lol look at his blockers (and I use the term loosely) chasing their guys from behind even on the brief highlight GIF.

Everyone on that field is terrible. Willis is just the most physically gifted among them. He's an NFL caliber athlete playing against and with low level college talent. He's a man among boys. I could be wrong but I'll be shocked if it translates to the NFL and I definitely think you're setting the kid up to bust if you play him as a rookie.

He did good against VA Tech which I would imagine had superior athletes. I really like his maturity level and he seems humble. His arm is a strong NFL arm. I think he checks a lot of boxes if we can develop him right.

He checks a lot of boxes physically but hell, so does virtually everyone in 1st round consideration.

There’s no point to not tank and by tank I mean don’t make temporary 1 or 2 year deals meant to help you in 2022 only. Beating Washington in 2020 cost us getting SF’s three 1sts. Playing the AFC South (3-1, 2-10 against the others) in 2019 cost us Justin Herbert. I still get annoyed when people say draft slot doesn’t matter.

Whether Rhule will do it, who knows. If we lose Watson and go for Jimmy or Baker, we are just setting ourselves up for a few more 5-12 to 8-9 seasons.

A healthy CMC keeps this team out of the top 5 draft picks next year. That's part of the reason he has been sat when healthy at the end of the past two seasons IMO.

That dude is the Jake Delhomme of college football. Everybody wants to doubt him but when it's go time dudes a gamer.

He's not a good NFL prospect. Too small. Too many games where his numbers were propelled by short, safe completions. Same crap they did there with Tua. We better hope Stroud is legit or someone else emerges.

From what I’ve read he seems humble and is a hard worker. Give me that with those physical traits and it’s definitely worth a shot. I get the hesitation, I was also high on Trey Lance for similar reasons. You can’t coach/teach those physical traits and they both seem to have the intelligence and work ethic to be successful in this league. I would be ok with an OL as well, if there isn’t a QB we like.

I don't think he's an NFL prospect either but as a college QB? Yeah, the dude is underrated. I underrated him too. I thought he'd be the reason UGA ultimately came up short.
