I don't know what is worse, simping for an accused sexual predator for over a year or being such a dumpster fire of a team that you are rejected by that accused sexual predator

The funny thing is I’m not sure by “accused sexual predator” you’re talking about Deshaun Watson or Jerry Richardson. There has been a lot of simping for both of them lately.

This place used to feel like good seats at a Panthers game, where you could talk/complain about the team with like minded fans, and poo talk with opposing ones without any fistfights.

Lately it feels like the game where you get stuck in front of some sunburnt hick who won't stop screaming about how terrible the team is and how he's never coming to another game.

I remember higher spirits when fuging Randy Fasani was our starting QB for like 5 seconds. The immediate and constant gratification crowd has taken this place over and is taking huge shits everywhere.

I would respect David Tepper a lot more if the Panthers were never involved in the Watson sweepstakes.

How hard he went for Watson and how poorly he did it is going to stick with me a long time.

The fact he even did chase Watson just tells me that removing the JR stature was more about making room for himself then what it should have stood for.

He removed the statue at such an opportune moment after the George Floyd protests. He saw a chance and took advantage

With all of Jerry Richardson's issues, he knew how to run a football club. Around the league, the Panthers had one of the best lockerrooms in the league.

I’m sure Deshaun Watson would be tripping over himself rushing to play for Jerry Richardson, the guy who reportedly directed a racial slur at one of his African-American scouts.

He was also doing all the simple things that fans wanted that only raised the value of his team while pumping up the fanbase: putting the Team logo at the 50, removing the statue of the racist harasser and building a team facilities with real-estate development attached.

Complaining about complaining is also complaining.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
