If you were hoping for Armstead or another FA LT, Jonathan Alexander says slow down

I'd rather sign Bozeman at center to solidify the entire right side of the line, and draft guys to compete. Armstead is good, but at his cost and his age, he is more like a piece you add to a roster that is looking for a big push.

I'd lean towards Tretter if I'm accurate in my understanding that he wouldn't figure into the comp pick formula.

This also doesn't sound like a team looking at LT at pick 6. Could be a smokescreen, I guess, or maybe they are looking at QB at 6.

I think since the LS we picked in round 6 last year didn't work out we'll pick a LS with the #6 pick overall...that or a CB.

I would rather see us add IOL upgrades, I personally like what I saw from Brady at LT. I think he only gets better with more opportunity and more consistent OL play.

I think the ship has sailed on trading for a QB, trading for a lesser QB than what we targeted last year landed us Darnold. Let's avoid that mistake.

Picks for Jimmy G who couldn't get it done on a STACKED San Francisco roster IS NOT the answer, neither is Baker, and neither is a guy like Minshew.

I understand, but Bozeman is younger and better. If I'm looking at solidifying the line for the next 5 years vs. a possible 4th round comp pick? Give me the solid OL every time.

NOW they feel like Christensen is a LT? Did his arms finally grow 0.05 of an inch? Jesus Christ the goal line keeps moving for this team.

I think Rhule was told to let the arm thing go. He wants to 3-D print what each position player should look like and it doesn't work like that.

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
    • They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.  pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.
