This is where I keep coming back to.  Why pass on fields last year?

They "meaning NFL draft advisory and NFL.com rating system" both have Pickett, Willis and Corral rating similar to Justin Fields from last year. Around 6.4 or so.

Fields - 6.45

Willis - 6.41

Pickett - 6.4

Corral - 6.4

All with first round grades. Take that for what it's worth. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Next gen stats from the same space has fields rated the highest with Corral 2nd, Pickett and then Willis.

Willis isn’t Mahomes. Willis is a shorter Trey Lance. Which….we don’t even know what Trey Lance is at this point.

What's funny and why this is so hit and miss is nfl rating system they use for draft profiles had Mahomes rated lower then they have Fields from last year and all three QB's listed in the op from this draft. Lmao

Really after everyone clearly has Willis ahead of Pickett and going as high as 2?

I think Corral is going to be every bit of “Zach Wilsonesque” at this pro day. He’s going to be throwing side arm, 1-hop 50 yard dimes, rolling to his left and hitting receivers in stride.

Willis has a big arm. But so does Corral and Willis looked almost heavy out there moving around. If Corral’s leg is healthy he’s going to look smooth moving around. I think for US (McAdoo) he is going to jump Pickett and Willis. He’s as pro-ready as Pickett and he’s just as good of an athlete as Willis.

Willis is by far the most talented of the bunch. You take him and pray you luck into Patrick Mahomes.

"By far..." (LOL)

Corral is the most talented of the bunch. He can put the ball in tight windows, is a master of play action, and can throw the ball accurately  and effectively on and off script. The only thing Willis really has over Corral is that his lower body is stockier.

My concerns with Corral are a) his history and b) that offence is RPO (and SRPO) heavy. That won't fly in the NFL.

In terms of physicality / arm talent / athleticism - he's the best QB in the Draft by a distance.

Willis busts level is more than Trey Lance.

He is so raw and the reason he been hyped up because this year quarterback class suck.

3rd round ok, but for 6?.......

He's just a little on the light side, he's like 10 pounds lighter than Zach Wilson and Teddy B which already look kinda frail playing in the NFL.

Corral was up to 212 at the combine at 6’2.  Thats fine IMO.  Dunno if he was the pick I would be excited personally.  Need to vet his temperament and maturity but he plays extremely hard and with injuries.  He has multi year experience against top level defenses and cut his ints to 5 last season.

If im being honest,  I don't think they could go wrong with any of the three here. You'd just have to have a different plan of attack for each of them. Willis would probably need to sit for 2 years probably, Pickett could come in and play right away most likely and Corral is a mix of both imo but would prefer to sit him for a year.
