Please do not trade into the second round. None of these QBs are worth it except Willis. Willis will take two years to devolpe.

And a great situation..

He needs to go to a team with secure offensive coaching staff and a established vet starter with 2 to 3 years in him left to play..

Examples.

Rams, Colts, Broncos or Chiefs...

Darnold better stay ready cause Corral is made of glass.

Corral isn't beating out Darnold in TC.. So Corral won't see the field until Darnold inevitably starts sucking.  Maybe week 6 or 8..

Tom Pelissero: "Conversations ongoing" between the Panthers and Browns about Baker Mayfield...

this probably is a big context of the Robby trade IMO.  I think they made a mistake on Robby.

BUT if they are forced to go the Baker route.....I think Robby has to go.   Baker has some diva/attitude in him.   And Robby's Baker talk was all over the sports talk shows.   And why do you want your average #2 WR impacting your front office.  Because acquiring Baker probably is more difficult if they want him because of Robby.

Who wants to come play QB for a bad team whose WRs are talking trash.

Well Darnold better not wander too far because by week 9 he’ll be the starter again.

I for one do not like Corral at all. The RPO dependency is a concern. I only like taking RPO QB’s if they have elite physical traits. Otherwise you end up with a player like Tua.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
