and frankly their WRs too.  Unless you just want depth and roleplayers.

No one has really panned out post Keyshawn and I always thought he was overrated.

Just avoid anyone from a college on the west coast. that's probably the rule that should be followed. Pick from where the best/highest level of competition is.

i think he could be. he could have been worth that first round pick. the physical tools are there, which is why he probably is listed above some of those. He just hasn't had the light flipped on yet. Doesn't seem like that is ever going happen.

Maybe.  In my mind, a good QB isn't about whether you can flash, its about whether you can be consistent.  He is consistently bad.

This is his opinion. He has a decent amount more experience watching film than any of us. Let alone he’s not going to be as biased as we are. His evaluation of Darnold is fair. If you take away his mental mishaps he’s a top 20-25 QB in the league. The first 3 games of last year prove it. Hell even the come back attempt in the Dallas game shows he has some talent. You guys have been so hard on everyone since Cam. Let the guy have a chance to figure it out this year. If he doesn’t we have Corral if he does then a team will sign him next year and we will get a decent comp pick. Win/win situation.

Teddy outperformed Sam nearly every week last year.  His stats were far superior overall.  Sam Darnold is NOT a better QB than Teddy Bridgewater.

You need that light to come on and stay on. Sammy needs it, esp. since he's afraid of things that go bump in the night.

To be fair a good portion of the fan base was/is hard on Cam too. They managed to be miserable during the peak of Panther QB play.

We have an nfl OC and hopefully an offensive line. Our QB’s have support and that should leave us hopeful.

Sad Season 9 GIF by The Office

The majority of Carolina fans have given the last few holdovers who still think #14 could be a starter plenty of time to accept. It's about to be June. From here on out this is how that's gonna go in Panthers fans circles.

    • I mean, in theory Bryce could get over the hump. That aside, you have to know that due to the situation we are going to give him another year. From some perspectives, it just makes sense. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with it, but it's not like the draft is chock full of franchise QBs. I'm thinking that only one, the consensus top pick, is destined to be the only one in this draft (and some people don't believe in him). All we can do is sure up the room with an FA (Pickett) and take a swing or two and hope (maybe the dawg Pavia). 2027 should bring better options if it comes to that.
    • Let's be honest here. We have one WR on this team that would be in the top 3 of ANY other team. And he was a rookie last year. I love Coker but he is an often injured UDFA. He wouldn't have even gotten a chance on other teams. The rookie injury would have bounced him around the league for the next 5 years until he stopped trying to make a roster. It's a numbers game for most teams and he would have (at best) been on some team's practice squad. But Carolina has been so devoid of talent at the position, that we didn't have much of a choice. Bryce leaves a lot of questions but to say he hasn't elevated anyone isn't true. No WR has left Carolina since he's started and did better on another team. Not one. And there are several to choose from. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not.
