Sure seems like Darnold has a slight early lead. Hopefully BM or MC can turn it on the rest of the way and take the job.

Baker just threw a nice long ball left to Robby that was broken up with a nice deflection.

My thing is, is that we have some guys with true talent, particularly in the defensive backfield and wide receiver (and QB and RB and on the O-line). We also, added some coaches who know a little bit about the game. Knock on wood to keep injuries at bay, and we will hopefully be good. It's not a stretch that improvements will come and be obvious. I'm looking forward to it.

For sure but the OL is at a bad disadvantage if the coaching staff keeps mixing and matching personnel. Hard to get in a groove when the guy beside you changes every two snaps.

Yes. That is exactly what I am saying.

It's practice. It means something to the players and coaches but it's fuging meaningless to the fans until it happens on a game day.

If Darnold wins the starting job it's going to take ALL the air out of this recent bump in optimism.
