Good point and def a possibility. I understand the optics of players betting on games is horrible but in this situation with him betting a couple hundred bucks through a mobile app while he was not playing …I mean come on. 
 

its entirely possible he has a gambling addiction and was slapped on the wrist several times

Ridley also was guilty of betting on Falcons games from what I recall. Even though he wasn't playing, that carries a bit more weight and isn't a great look.
