See, Matt Rhule is coddling his starters, his offense. Belichick is getting his guys ready for a long season.

Matt Rhule tried to hide Sam in the preseason. He coddled Baker through the "process" this time.

Is hiding a great strategy? I'm gonna play my second team so I don't take a L to Belichick and get embarrassed.

Why doesn't Matt Rhule prefer a QB that he's drafted over anyone else? Most coaches do.

When and/or will there be a rebroadcast on Sat. or Sun.? I have obligations that will mean I will miss end of first & all of second half. I hate doing something halfway, although two ex-wives will state differently.

Well in this case we are expecting to lose the game. The upside is we get to see how the backups measure up to going against starters on another team. The backups to the backups get to compete to be backups. 

It will look worse for the Patriots to lose this game in this case so it's a win/win if you look at it that way. Or,  you can continue to bitch and moan and miss out on what's really going on.
