We know who’s in;

Moore, Anderson and probably Higgins. Smith has flashed and will probably make it. Marshall is disappointing once again and nobody else has really impressed me.

Horn, DJ, Henderson, Chinn and Woods are locks. No idea who else will make it.

Shi is basically preseason MVP out of that room, looks good on returns as well

I know the QB battle is all ppl want to talk about but..

The WR battle got some heat on it..

Your locks are DJ, Robbie, TmJ and Higgins..

Depending How many Wr we keep 6 or 7

You Got Roberts(Return specialist), BZ (special teams ace and solid WR option), Shi (drafted player who's looked good), CJ Saunders (hurt but was running with the ones before), Kirkwood (big target wr) and Wright (who the coaches have been talking about).. Battling for 2 or 3 spots..

Well Rhule said in the press that Shi and Higgins are fighting for WR 3, and basically said TMJ better get his poo together. So that means:

Moore, Anderson, TMJ, Smith, and Higgins might be locks. Everyone else fighting for the last spot or spots. Might keep 7 instead of 6.

Quick question was BZ held out on Friday due injuries or is he already seen as a lock on this roster??

If we only keep two QBs, then perhaps we will keep either an extra WR or TE.  Zlystra will find a spot.  Kirkwood possibly.  Other than that, there are some guys that may land on the practice squad.

Slightly off subject, but let's go over to the OL.  The first 8 are locks...but we usually keep 9 or 10.  Who do you got?  I mean, between Daley, Jordan, Brown, Pleasants, Horton and Tecklenburg, I would rather not keep any of them.  I'd prefer to cut all of these guys and search the waiver wire for another guy or two.  If forced to keep one, I guess Daley would stick around.

Locks: Ickey, Moton, Bozeman, Corbett, BC, Elflein, Erving, Mays.  Yes, Mays is a lock.

WR: DJ Moore. Robbie Anderson, Terrace Marshall Jr, Shi Smith, Rishard Higgins, Brandon Zylstra, maybe Keith Kirkwood

DBs: Jaycee Horn, Donte Jackson, CJ Henderson, Keith Taylor Jr, Tae Hayes, Myles Hartsfield, Jeremy Chinn, Xavier Woods, Sean Chandler, Juston Burris, maybe Kenny Robinson

If Shi and Higgins don't make the 53 Rhule should be admitted to the psych ward

I'm stealing @Icege's list and modifing it...

WR: DJ Moore. Robbie Anderson, Terrace Marshall Jr, Shi Smith, Rashard Higgins, Brandon Zylstra, maybe CJ Saunders, but I doubt it. I think 6 is it.

DBs: Jaycee Horn, Donte Jackson, CJ Henderson, Keith Taylor Jr, Myles Hartsfield, STO, Jeremy Chinn, Xavier Woods, Sean Chandler, Kenny Robinson. I don't think we carry more than 10 dbs. I think Hayes may make it over Keith Taylor.

I think these bottom guys are really going to depend on their ST performance.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
