I dont recall him dropping any passes, ever.  Now, im sure it has happened, but his total drop numbers for his entire career have to be under 5.

Two according to PFF.... And there was this streak he had of 23 games without one....

We all know the coaching staff proactively sat CMC after his injuries because the previous two seasons were a lost cause. The people with the "he's always hurt" arguments are casual football fans at best.

He got hurt in the 3rd game of the season after having the highest usage in the NFL.  Not much proactive about that.  If they're really being proactive and saving him, why not just sit CMC starting week 1 this year until we see if the team has a shot at the playoffs?

@frankw spent an entire thread arguing with me that it was the same...

Are you this lonely on a Friday bub? It's been established that after 25 years old many RB's begin to break down physically and get bogged down with nagging injuries. There have been some notable exceptions but most of them are from previous eras. You get so angry when presented with the realities of the very real trends related to the running back position the last several years. Yeah I hope McCaffrey miraculously goes on to never miss a game for the next 5 seasons and has a hall of fame career and a Super Bowl MVP with us. But I also want to hit the Powerball so the odds of both are about the same.

That makes zero sense. You clearly don't understand what I was saying. 22 was held out even after he could have returned because the team was not in contention. They were not going to put their franchise RB on the field to take unnecessary hits in meaningless games

Your argument was that he's not always hurt.  He missed those games because he was hurt.  If the season was essentially over by the time he was ready to return, then why didn't he return earlier?  Because he was injured.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
