At this point, might as well.  (When he's healthy of course)

No. Baker has his down sides but Sam isn't really worth a backup QB spot at this point. Can't see the field and the beating he took last year is the kind that gives a QB a case of the Carrs. No thank you sir.

Darnold sucks, but at least he can physically see downfield without scrambling out of the pocket.  It doesn't matter.  We're screwed at QB.

I have concluded the reason why it seems so hard to evaluate any position or player to a large extent is because 1. they are coached and schemed for college while playing in the NFL and 2. they are playing opposing players that are scheming AGAINST amateur hour college strategies, immediately putting them at a disadvantage, especially rookies.

I'd like to see what Sam Darnold looks like behind this line

Shockingly change the jerseys and it does feel like the same play.

Thing is Baker was supposed to make a couple plays to help get the panthers over the hump, hes not made enough..... idk if its him getting here late, not liking BBQ, or what...... just like Rhule needs to make a few decisions to improve the panthers chances...... that same deal goes for Baker....

1st it was teddy B, then Sam and/or joe Brady, now McAdoo and Baker.........

It's matt rhule. That said this was predictable if you refuse to run the ball as Matt has done. Baker, Sam, and Teddy are all guys that cannot carry a team when asked to drop back or start from the gun and just sling it. Also, Joe Brady had a better script that this crap from ol man McAdoo.

The browns stat from playaction vs drop back should be telling. Give him a big time run game and weapons, and he's a manager. That was the browns issue and why they looked elsewhere and didn't want to hold on to him. They need someone to do more than ride everything off just the running game with their aspirations. Funny that it's teppers guy in Watson though.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
