Wow 2 posts of hate.  Good for you.

It's actually 3, but for real tho, how many do you want him to post? You are pretty good at moving goal posts. I mean you asked for evidence, the guy provided. I guarantee he could provide many more, but damn. It's funny though, you ask for "what hate" and dude links to one of your own posts. Ever heard the phrase self-own? 🤣

Horn hasn't really been tested yet.  He only played during the cupcake portion of our schedule last year, and we haven't played a decent team yet this year.

Yeah, I mean he is still a rookie.  His bad games are still coming.  And that’s okay.  It’s like Icky taking lumps.  I’m fine with rookies taking lumps.  DB and OL are just going to be rough positions for a rookie.

he really won’t get to experience playing DB until we hit Stafford/Brady in a couple weeks.  Good QBs paired with good WRs.

and 2 are for the game thread. 🤣

Look Im not trying to be a dick or anything but there are plenty of people on here and in this fan base that always play the “we should have drafted game”

Horn did well for in his limited time for a position that takes time. Corner is a weird position that you have more rookie Okudah’s than your Lattimores.

Horn was on his way to being a good corner till his injury and he’s still coming back but there is a sect of this fan base that wanted Fields or someone else and they drag Horn down because of that. You don’t have to dive far into the toxic world of panthers internet-dom to find Horn slander.

TBH he hasn't done bad for a rookie CB because that's what he is after he got injured early last year. His Run defense has been solid and he took Barkley one on one and made the tackle which is not easy. Either way hopefully next year we have a better coaching staff to get him in better position to compete.

That's horrible through two games against bad QBs.

Meh.

People need to remember that for all intents and purposes, this is essentially Horn's first year. He's still learning and making the transition from the college game. Once he develops, he'll be the cream of the crop.

    • We had a QB who could do that and its the last time we went to the Super Bowl and the only time we had an MVP. Once he lost his ability to do that he was out of the league. To filter out insignificant stats I will only look at QBs who have played in 10 or more games this year. There are 28 qualifying QBs. Bryce is 25th in Air Yards per Attempt at 6.4. Only Joe Flacco, Cam Ward, and Dillon Gabriel are worse (6.0, 5.8, 5.1). Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, and CJ Stroud are the median QBs at 7.1. Drake Maye and Sam Darnold lead the league at 8.7. Bryce is 18th in the league for passes that travel 30+ yards at 12. The median is Caleb Williams at 15. The league leader is Matthew Stafford with 26. With passes that travel 40+ yards, Bryce is tied with three others at 21st in the league with 3. Only Jacoby Brissett, Cam Ward, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel are worse. The median is a three-way tie with Drake Maye, Trevor Lawrence, and Baker Mayfield with 6. The league leader is Sam Darnold with 12. Having the ability to complete passes down the field (not YAC) stretches the defense and makes them account for more ground. It keeps players out of the box and keeps formations in nickel or dime, less line backers for your RBs to worry about. Bryce is why we have 2 losses against the Saints. If he had the outright ability to sling the football down field we beat the easily, but he doesn't. So they crowded the box and our 2 starting caliber RBs with our top ~10 Oline couldn't carry the offense to a win on their own. The limitations of the offense fall squarely on Bryce.
    • Bryce’s deep passes are intermediate passes for other strong armed QBs. I will say that Bryce’s accuracy on his deep passes have improved. Before they would just sail out of bounds. Now the WR actually has a fighting chance on the ball.
    • And Dilfer won a SB, idc. Almost impossible to miss the playoffs when you have that good of a defense
