Embattled Carolina Panthers coach Matt Rhule is under heavy scrutiny from owner David Tepper, and multiple league sources predict that he will be fired before the end of the season if his pattern of losing continues. No dismissal is regarded as imminent or developing at this time, but patience is growing thin from ownership, according to league sources.

What’s the big-picture plan for Tepper?

Should the Panthers owner ultimately move on from Rhule, he’s expected to seek an experienced former head coach as his eventual replacement.

“I’m expecting, and many others around the league expect Tepper to go with a proven head coach with significant NFL experience,” a league source said. “That would mean looking at Sean Payton or a Dan Quinn. Tepper has been patient, but patience only stretches so far. At some point, you have to win, and they haven’t won nearly enough games.

“Of course, it doesn’t help the situation that Baker Mayfield hasn’t played very well. Rhule is in a tough spot and I don’t see how he can fix the situation. It feels pretty inevitable from everything I’m hearing that he’ll eventually be fired.”

If that is true then it's what I feard even when Rhule is finally fired. He will swing too far and go to someone that peaked elsewhere with another embarrassing contract.

Yup, going to be at least another 2 years before Tepper figures out the most basic concepts through failure.

      Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!

      And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
