I’ve seen him cry in an interview before talking about the HoF

i kind of feel like whether it’s intentional or not him doing more media gigs might help him get a HoF nod

He also has cried while detailing some of mistakes before too in an interview.  Everyone cries.

A very professional tribute.  Steve didn't make it about himself but for Sam.  We have to remember that Steve was a budding star when Sam was with the team.  Though Sam was a defensive coach you can surely believe he was in Steve's ear about being great.  He was in his ear about being the small guy not getting any respect.  Steve, like Sam, showed the world greatness.

Sam was such a great player, and I was ecstatic when we signed him in our inaugural season to be the leader of our defense.   His leadership set the tone for a team that one year removed from their first season they were in the NFC Championship game.

Sam deserved the HOF and surely Steve will too.

    • Moton would be gone by then, Ikey likely on a big deal and it's likely one or both of Lewis and Hunt will be gone due to finances or performance drops.  Mays will likely never see 6-8 mil/year here. He is a backup caliber player and has roughly the same valuation as BC. We should not be either relying on him as a long term starter nor paying him like one, as he is essentially a backup player. An extremely valuable one like BC but not one with a lot of free agency heat, I would imagine(like BC). You can't be paying backup IOL like starters. It's not smart.
    • What makes me think we keep vacillating is that Evero is pretty darn familiar with the offense and defense we just faced.  Think he was keyed in on certain things against his old regime.  Hope I'm wrong here and we can keep rolling.
    • This is the laziest post I've read of your in years.  Bryce has already proven he can throw more than 20 and still play well.  Has he done it consistently? I'm not sure i want any team to have to consistently ask their QB to throw 40 plus times a game. That is not plan for sustained winning.  In order to best the best teams, which often have good offenses, the best game plans, always involve a run heavy game plan.  You have to keep their offense on the side of the field.   You also have to gave the defense do their part.   Cam's MVP season, he was constantly getting short fields because our defense was taking the ball away.  Stop being lazy.  Stop talking down players abilities.
