I think what his "process" ultimately boils down to is just tecruit the best players and everything else will take care of itself.

Basically, what a college coach would do...

...except that doesn't work in the NFL

So very true. In the NFL you can have a team with almost no talent make the Super Bowl.
Like the Cardinals in ‘08. They had some talent in key positions but they had not job getting to the Super Bowl ever.

Well. Oh hey..did you know that teams lose because they don't know why they lose?

If only we, as a team, could figure out why we are losing. What exactly is holding us back, from being just good, to being great? It's a real mystery it seems.

I'm glad you mentioned that.  Who said that?

  • Vince Lombardi?
  • Tom Landry?
  • Chuck Knoll?
  • Bill Walsh?
  • Bill Parcells?
  • Joe Gibbs?
  • Marv Levy?
  • Jimmy Johnson?
  • Mike Shanahan?
  • Bill Belichick?
  • Andy Reid?
  • John Harbaugh?

Nope, somebody with more experience losing than any of them!
