Then you have a 5th round QB and 3rd round QB that our new coach will have no invested interest in. They have to be looking at drafting one this year. Tepper has QB fever.

And you have a top 8 pick… that pick would be the equivalent or potentially even higher than the pick that we originally took CMC with.

1rst for cmac or multiple 2nds I would do it in a heartbeat.

2 firsts for Burns I would do in a heartbeat

6th for Robbie I would do in a heartbeat

5th for Shaq in a heartbeat

Burns is the only one I’m hesitant on. He is one of the best young pass rushers in the league and they are hard to come by. I know he has a big pay day coming though…

So does Robbie even play today after Joe Person tweeted that he's definitely on the trade block? His locker room presser after Rhule was fired was so awkward.

Maybe I answered my own question, didn't realize he sat out Friday

Anderson (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams after not practicing Friday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

lololololololololololololololololol

What a putz

trade him for a damn bag of doritos and be done with this circus act

Anderson hasn’t ‘played’ since he got paid… doesn’t matter if he’s on the field or not… it won’t affect the result.

2 firsts would be hard to turn down

After listening to the national guys talk about our team and franchise most of them think we have to blow this puppy up proper.  This team has struggled to win since Riveras last season.  The players on this roster now are not getting it done.  Something has to give.

Much better chance than Matt Corral.

Yeah but both Corral and Howell are unknown mid to late round draft picks. Our next coach won’t pass over a rookie in the 1st because of either one of them, much less both. It doesn’t make sense for him to be part of a trade, plus Washington needs him.

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
