Are you still going to be this pissed off if/when it comes out that cmac wanted out?

Yeah.

Look I wish nothing but misery on him now.

I don't give a phuck if a player wants out I have them under contract I'm going to use them  phuck his feelings.

Unless I get enough value. Which I stated was a 2023 1st and 4th and a 2024 1st minimum. If I don't get that he stays. Period.

Now the best thing for the Panthers is for him to get hurt and fail.

It’s not the same group drafting this year, so it’s not really relevant.

Have we changed the GM or scouting department? From what we have seen (so far) it appears we'll have the same FO people next year. If Fitts gets full control that new coach will be working for him and "may" have little to say in who gets selected.

As I stated earlier if we get an HC/GM coach that click together, this could actually work. But if they clash, of Fitts feels like he needs total control to keep his job and downplays the HC's input, things could go turn sour in a hurry.

It think Foreman would be the better pickup for Fantasy, but I got to think there's a better option on your waivers than the lead back in the worst offense in the NFL.

It's a 16-team league. You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for RB2/Flex picks. So much so that D'Onta Foreman has been rostered for about 4 weeks and wasn't available.

We changed the idiot with final roster control.  He was sitting in that room every draft day.  That gives me some hope.  Hopefully we bring in some new faces as well though.  Good point.

I had forgot about those two. Thanks guys. Those were both Gettleman selections I believe. He took over in 2013 I think. That's 5 good players players between 2013-2021 in the 2nd and 3rd rounds(jury is still out on 2022 class). Did we miss anyone else? I don't think so.

Yep. We're going to get a great coaching candidate with our

QB1 Matt Corral

RB1 Chuba Hubbard

WR1 TMJ cuz you know DJ is going next

TE1 Ian Thomas

For fugs sake...

You see thats all Rhule.

Rhule fuged up every decision.

Except GM.  He nailed that one.  So we're good. See?

Its going to take years to prove it though, because we have to see what HC and draft class Fit gets next year and then a few years later we'll know how good those guys are.

If you’re now going back to 2013 then you have add in Short and Trai Turner.

Maybe Funchess but he was pretty blah.

I’m not mad. I wanted us to trade him. You just pooing on him for the last week is weird dude.

I'm ready to see what we can do with this offense with a new coach and more picks hopefully you are too. We haven't been contenders in the NFCS or the NFC overall in years. It's time to do this thing the right way.

Like I said, I’ve been in favor of this since before the season even started. It was clear we weren’t ready to be contenders and I’ve banged on the drum of trading him. My only issue with your comments was acting like he wasn’t a good player when clearly he is and acting like anyone defending him as a player was a racist which clearly isn’t the case.

But I did feel moving him for assets was in our best interest. Ultimately we both wanted the same thing. I just didn’t get way you had to bash CMC or fans of CMC in the process. But he’s gone now and we both got what we wanted. So how bout a truce?

That's what we've been doing and so far this year we are 32nd in yards per game last year we were 30th and in 2020 when he missed the bulk of the season we were 21st with Teddy Bridgewater and Mike Davis.

Definitely, understood.  But if you're drafting the top QB you would hope that the passing game would have a little more potency and that opposing defenses would have to respect it more than they currently do.  And I would think that the line is only going to get better as they play together more.  I just think that by this time next year CMC would have been more valuable to you.  Flip side is what value are you really adding next year to your offense with a 2nd and a 3rd.  Probably very little unless you get lucky.

But this team will have a new coaching staff, new schemes, it's clearly getting burned down and rebuilt.

    • Yes, but those guys aren't depth guard signings, they're likely going to wait and see who has injuries or players under performing and then sign there. I also think that if Ickey really is going to be able to play at some point this year, that's where our guard depth comes from.  As if he gets to the point of being active, we'd then have 3 LT's on the roster with him, Freeling, and Walker, gotta think one of them not named Freeling gets kicked inside if needed.
    • lol imagine being Hill and this is what your coach thinks about you replacing a guy giving up over 4 goals per game.
    • I don't think Tyreek is a bad player to play with on the field, for sure not in the same way that Diggs is, as he's a cancer on the field with how he acts, and wouldn't take kindly to being 2nd fiddle behind T-Mac. It's that Tyreek is just a terrible person who realistically shouldn't even be in the NFL, his insane athletic ability is why his off field transgressions have been overlooked.  If he was a WR3, no team would have kept him around, it was only that he was a 1st ballot HOF level talent that kept him around. Just zero interest in having a person like that around our young WRs, that's really all it comes down to for me with him. Again, if we were true contenders this year, that changes things and I'd rather bring in the best possible players and hope it works out.  But they're trying to build something here and to do that, you need high quality people, not just great talent.
