If Fitt didn't want the awful QBs we brought here (and Rhule is to blame) then Tepper should have NEVER allowed a structure where the GM is under the HC for personnel moves. What's worse is if Fitt had to basically lie to the public about wanting the crap QBs Rhule forced him to bring here. I don't know if that is some sort of conspiracy theory or what, but the whole structure is rotten if true,

I'm convinced Tepper is the de facto GM.

In a 15-year span…

All of those players were around for the Super Bowl(s), or post even. They were all a part of the best seasons the Panthers have had. All but one was high character players that gave us an identity, and a chance to win any given Sunday. I didn't even mention Williams, Stewart, Beason, Kalil.

We had an embarrassment of talent once upon a time.

I'm not a huge fan of the trade, but the facts are that CMC hasn't contributed much over the past few years, due to various injuries and now we have a 2nd, a 3rd and 4th round picks in 2023 for him and a 5th in 2024.

These picks may mean more to a new HC than an electric off injured RB. But we need to draft an electric RB in the 2nd - 3rd round in 2023, providing we have an OC that can run an NFL offense.

Just remember, running backs are largely replaceable. The year we drafted him is a stellar example.

41st - Dalvin Cook (Minnesota)

48th - Joe Mixon (Cincinatti)

67th - Alvin Kamara (New Orleans)

86th - Kareen Hunt (Kansas City)

105th - James Conner (Pittsburgh)

119th - Tarik Cohen (Chicago)

182nd - Aaron Jones (Green Bay)

And Austin Ekeler (Chargers) went undrafted.

Also, I would like to add, that this next year is projected to be one of the deepest running back classes since 2017. As long as the Panthers can still scout, we're going to be fine.
