I think we'll be fine even with Tepper so long as he hires a real NFL coach who has documented success. Down the line who knows. But we have talent here the team is demoralized and Rhule created an atmosphere of softness and mediocrity. We'll see.

They actually a plan for the first time in several years.

-Flip the bloated contracted vet players for draft picks

-Hire an offensive minded HC to draft a QB with your top pick

-Build around top pick with drafted players inserted with our current young talent and take the dead cap hit this year

-Use all the cap money we have in 2024 to complete our roster and try to make a run.

So the plan is to subject fans to yet anther year of suck after this one minimum? Yuck 90M dead cap this year and next now..... lmfao literally more than 35% of next seasons cap is dead.

Yeah when you are in last place and had a terrible coach with full roster control just get fired, it’s not an immediate recovery. With our OL, and young defensive pieces we could be entertaining next year with our rookie QB, but it will take a rookie QB and new HC a minute to adjust anyway. Immediate success can’t triumph long term sustainability.

Please explain what the benefits are of Tepper moving the team?

He would potentially also have to move his soccer team as well, if he didn't the fanbase would riot and never attend home games in protest.

Any other Cities that are close to Charlotte in terms of Market size also have to compete with fanbases of other teams in those areas (San Antonio, Orlando, etc.)

It would cost a poo ton of money.

How and why would it make sense to move the panthers when the Jags exist?

Six years of strait ass is too much even if it is "entertaining"

Stated for ages that the NFL isn’t gonna move a team out of the Charlotte, there are many reasons for this.

if a team were to move, the Jaguars would be the next one to move.

Jags haven’t had good support for years, this is due to poor performance and market saturation from the NFL and Collage. The Florida Gators are literally right next door if you didn’t know and you have more storied franchises like Miami and Tampa in state. Nobody outside of a few fringe fans would miss them if they moved.

On the bright side no one ever thought that Tampa Bay would be in a sentence containing the words "storied franchises" in the 19th century so maybe the Panthers will one day win a Super Bowl....maybe 2!

    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
