Again with the failed reading comprehension. You're just discrediting your own argument that Schefter isn't reporting credible information. They dealt McCaffrey, exactly as Shefter said for multiple picks.

Are you really not reading the stuff you're even quoting?

Then you can't even be bothered to write your own post, trying to be clever by parroting mine back at me. Dude. Stop. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point.

Schefter was used by credible source to up the CMC price and the information helped the Panthers achieve the highest offer possible by doing exactly what they are doing with Burns.  Stating that they will NOT trade him unless it's astronomical....Panthers are just trying to get their offers higher by reporting they won't trade for 2 first round picks....hoping this gets the price up for what they will eventually do before the trade deadline, which is trade Burns for the best offer by driving the price up.

If they don't trade Burns before the trade deadline, then Burns plays out his 2023 season and walks.  No way the Panthers can pay the equivalent of 2 first round picks in compensation for him, when they need so many more important pieces.

Oh by the way....here is another credible source about CMC just driving up his price so the Panthers can get something for the best RB in the league.

“People from those same teams say running back Christian McCaffrey is available, under the right terms,” Fowler reported on Tuesday. ‘They want a lot,’ a high-ranking AFC personnel man said. Think a first-round pick or more.”

the moronic aliases have come on strong since the rhule firing and cmac trade

I find it funny a clueless fan base that commiserates every week about how poopy their team is would want to remain clueless, rather than listen to people outside their little bubble who actually understand what's really going on here.

I’d take two first for Burns for sure. Surprised we didn’t take that, that’ll be disastrous if we don’t re-sign  him.

Ehhh it depends on what year and where the approximate positions of those two 1st rounders would be.  The Eagles 1st rounder for the upcoming draft, plus their own, plus maybe a 3rd or 4th in another year would be interesting.

Still hard to pull the trigger because Burns is an elite level pass rusher.  Needs to work on the run D, but he's still young and should get better.

We have already exercised the 5th year option on Burns and one would think an extension will be hammered out in the off season.

You can replace Burns' production. You can't replace two 1st round picks.

You can’t replace his impact. We don’t have a secure spot at DC anymore. Burns is a star player.

Two first round picks doesn’t guarantee us anything.  You need a premier pass rusher in the NFL. We have one.

For Panthers fans you had better hope the Panthers goal is to drive up the trade price on Burns and get something close to what they are "reporting" they have been offered....Very simply put after November 1 the Panthers have ZERO bargaining power when it comes to signing Burns or trading him in 2023.  They will be forced to pay him what 2 first round picks is worth if he isn't traded or he will walk.

How do you hillbillies not see this?

Conversely, I think the facts are so clear it should be easy for everyone to see, but that's obviously not the case here.  I bet your investments, if any, are based off Fox News and Yahoo Finance.  Enjoy the smoke screen..... dude.
