That about sums it up. Ironically PJ Walker actually benefited from it.

I was thinking that exact thing as I was reading this thread.  Rhule hampered even those who probably owe their NFL careers to their relationship with him at Temple and Baylor.

The guy was basically a menace for an NFL organization.

I once wrote a note to my boss after a meeting with a young program manager on some program that should not have ever seen the light of day, and it applies to Rhule.  My boss had a copy of my email hanging in his office until the day he retired, and may have left it hanging then.  It said:

The guy is an absolute fool.  To his credit, he does not let the mere fact that he is an absolute fool prevent him from speaking with great authority on subjects that he clearly knows nothing about.

But come on, the guy can just flat out coach 😐

I am so happy that we get the reminder of our games this year to give the players a shot to prove themselves and show how poorly roster management was under Rhule.

Absolute garbage that all the guys stepping up now were not used at all or just ridiculously poorly. We got rid of 2 players (one of them who is really good), had to wait for an injury at C and then everyone looks amazingly improved from that point forward...after cutting out the 2 biggest cancers.

    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
    • Also maybe the biggest part is his fromer college buddy, Lord Lamar told the GM to sign him. It was done nearly right after and guess who was the first person Alexander met at ravens stadium??
