So Carolina turned down 3 first round picks and 1 second round pick for Burns/Moore?!?

Burns is more valuable to Fitt for next year vs that one 2nd rounder pick for 2023 and those picks years down the road. He knows if he doesn’t put a somewhat decent product on the field next year he’s gone.

Such a garbage move, just fully commit to the rebuild and maybe you’d show you deserve to stick around for it.

Yeah, I’d hate to do what the Dolphins did and trade Burns for Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Bradley Chubb.

I mean think of that… you could say Burns/Chubb are equal and then you gain a top 5 WR in the NFL and a very promising young WR.

You gonna bank on player like Hill or Chubb being there to be had in 2024?

more than I bank on Burns developing into a 20 sack per season player like he will be paid to be? yes. we just paid 2 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick for the right to overpay him. we may as well have made the trade in reverse at the deadline. we gave him the leverage to write his own check and it will be MASSIVE. for what?

I agree with the Moore decision.  I want to see what he can do with an offensive HC and actual QB throwing him the ball.  If he can break 1000 yards with Teddy, Kyle Allen, One Armed Cam he is going to be even better.  He also is on a decent contract IMO.  The Burns one is a tough pill to swallow now that it's being reported they also threw in a 2nd this year....

Those trade offers will still be there in the offseason if they feel they need to make them at that time.

imo the only reason to trade one of those two guys are to insure you get one of the potential franchise QBs in this draft. Not looking like we’ll have to trade up with the way we’re playing so I like that we held onto those guys so a young QB has pieces around him when he arrives

The offers will not be as good in the offseason. They were good now, because teams were gunning for the Playoffs. Once the season is over things will cool.

So basically 3 top 15 picks

If you expect the rams to be mediocre the next 2 years, sure.  Knowing our luck they’d finish bottom 10 this year and win the super bowl in 23 and 24 when it matters for us with their first round pick

I'm just getting pissed off with these half assed "rebuilds". If you're going to do it, then stop being a pussy and fully commit. Trading CMC was a step in the right direction, then we hesitate on Burns and Moore? Fug that, you should have gotten compensation for anybody that wasn't a franchise QB, and since we don't have one of those, EVERYBODY should have been readily available for draft picks.

Can't wait to overpay Burns just to watch him overrun sacks and get pummeled in the running game. This franchise will never get it right, too many sorry ass people at top to turn this thing around sadly.

    • Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3! (Trust me bro) 3rd Star : 6/94 g/s - .936 save % - 1.59 gaa The Great Dane   2nd Star : 3 g - 5 a - +1 - 20:38 toi/g - 18 hits - 3 bs - 58.1% fo 3 PP goals and the 2OT series winning goal! WOOAAAHHH NELLY!!!!   And, your 1st Star of the series : 5 g - 1 a - +3 - 16:48 toi/g - 16 hits - 1 bs - 1 tk - 50% fo Zero, I repeat, zero penalty minutes for the series! MISSSTAAAHHH SVEEECHNIKOOOV!!!!!! Onto The Next: Now, we wait for the Habs to make it a nasty 7 game slog, while we recuperate. And, hopefully, get Nikishin, and some of the other black aces some real peactice time. We are gonna need those guys at some point. Because, if you think the Devils were dirty, hoooo boy, wait till you see what's next...
    • I don’t watch college football anymore (used to be Stanford STH but meh), but my wife is Hawaiian and her favorite color is purple, so I guess I knew Tet was my new favorite player to root for when he came out in a purple suit and lei and threw up the Shaka.
