The remaining coaches I would consider "Rhule guys"...

Linebackers Coach / Defensive Run Game Coordinator Mike Siravo served under Rhule for seven years at both Temple and Baylor in addition to one earlier year at Temple before following him to the Panthers

Strength and Conditioning Coach Jeremy Scott is the third staff member to follow Rhule through all three of his most recent stops (counting Evan Cooper) over the past seven years before joining the Panthers

Runningbacks Coach / Assistant Head Coach - Offense Jeff Nixon is a three year Baylor guy who followed Rhule to the Panthers (also one year with Rhule at Temple for a total of four years) but does have significant NFL coaching experience outside that connection 

Tight Ends Coach Kevin M Gilbride was on staff with Rhule three years at Temple and one with the Giants in the 2000s; his dad was also a Rhule colleague in New York; like Nixon he does have other NFL coaching experience

Assistant Quarterbacks Coach / Pass Game Coordinator Matt Lombardi was with Rhule at Baylor for two recent years but was with the Dolphins at the time Rhule got the Panthers job

Assistant Defensive Line Coach Terrance Knighton played for Rhule three years at Temple; never coached with him (or much at all really) till Carolina

Quarterbacks Coach Sean Ryan and DC Al Holcomb each had a single year working with Rhule at previous stops, but Ryan's connection is relatively minimal and obviously Holcomb isn't going anywhere.

All these will be gone.  As mentioned earlier by others, the only current coach needing retained is Campen.

I'd keep Tabor and Kugler.

Outside of that, there's an argument to be made for Jeff Nixon. He has plenty of legitimate NFL experience away from Rhule .

I'm okay with Tabor too, but honestly ST coaches are a dime a dozen.  Indifferent with Kuglar.  If Campen wants him to stay, then that's fine.

Disagree about special teams coaches. They can definitely have a major effect on a season.

As to Kugler, he's Campen's protegé.

It is still just crazy how much power Tepper gave Rhule being just a college coach coming in.  The contract, the full power on hidings and things.   There are very few coaches that have been around for a long time that should have that power definitely not a newbie.

Tepper believed he was going to do things his own way and show everybody he was smarter than them.

He proved just the opposite.

This just in:

   Fired Sir Purr's tailor, replacing with taxidermist who makes great bear costumes.

   Fired 1/3 of concession workers, replacing with prison cook staff used to serving people who want to leave but can't.

   Fired scoreboard IT director for allowing replays that looked bad, replacing with Chiefs asst video director and asking him to show KC only replays. 

   Fired pest control firm, replacing them concert managers since they share similar capabilities.

    Fired entire scouting department, replacing them with visually impaired staff that will offer same results for a reduced rate.

      I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.

      We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
