Most fans would rather have a few meaningless wins than try to build to get back to the superbowl

If there was another Mahomes in the draft, our fans would still want to win

I guess we really are not football smart

Completely agree with you.

Everyone here praising Sam and happy with the win will be singing a very, VERY different tune come next season when Sam is still our QB bc of a few meaningless wins with a projected .500 season (at best).

We can’t even lose right. This season was over before it began and nobody seems to fully grasp that.

Chicago will be selling that 2nd overall pick to the highest bidder

Tepper wants his franchise QB this draft

The more we win these meaningless games the more I cringe at the thought of what we’re going to give up to go get our guy

To move to…

4-8

Plan the parade!

Better than 3-9. As a fan I’ll always be happy with a win.  Also happy for the players, coaches and their families.  Follow the Bozeman’s on Twitter and explain to me how you cannot be happy for them after a win.  Screw the draft.  I want to win every week.

Where is Mahommes this draft? Please enlighten me.  Both Stroud and Young look like crap when they aren't lined up against the Little Sister of the Poor squad on the other side of the ball.  When they face real competition, both of them fold like lawn chairs.

So, I’d like to hear what you would do if you were in Steve Wilks or Mr. Teppers shoes right now. Would you really tell these guys to go out there and lose each week in order to get a Top 2 selection in this years underwhelming QB class?

    • 49ers are good team but at the same time they are beatable. Of course it's Shanahan so they're well coached and our staff has struggled in that department against well coached squads. But this last game against the Cardinals they were outgained 488 to 281 yards. The Cardinals gave up an opening kickoff return for a td and lost 3 turnovers that resulted in 10 points, those 17 points were the diffence in the game whereas the Cardinals were moving at will on the 49ers.  And it's not just that game the 49ers on the season are 30th in defensive EPA success percentage, the only two teams who are worse are Dallas and Cincinnati two historically bad defenses this season.  We just faced the most blitz happy team in the league in Atlanta who are 2nd in sacks now with 34 only behind the great Denver pass rush with 49. 49ers on the other hand are dead last in sacks with 12 even the Panthers who ee lament about our pass rush has more with 16 on the season.  The fact that they are 7-4 with those defensive numbers are a testament to Shanahan but with our new find Bryce air coryell offense to go along with Rico running this should be a team we can move the ball against.  Panthers shock the world again and win 27 - 21 to take 1st place in the NFC South
    • You gave up on Bryce and he starts breaking records. If you gave up on the team, we might win the super bowl lmao
    • Whoops. Well, sucks for Penix. Then again, saw a clip out there of an Falcons defender that seemed to step on Bryce's ankle on purpose, so not feeling as sorry for the Falcons.
