You ain’t gotta like it. But you have to respect it. Probably the closest thing to a formal apology from the NC2A as anyone will get. 
 

There were a lot of people who invested a serious amount of time, energy, and resources chasing after something that didn’t exist. A lot of bewilderment and misplaced anger when UNC was rightfully cleared. Need to use that energy on certain “reporters” and journalists who strung ya along when it was a big old fat and juicy nothing burger.

Ohio State suffers one of their ugliest, most embarrassing losses in two decades at the hands of their arch rival, rumors begin that the head coach is on the way out after losing like 5 games in four years but still manage to sneak into the playoff with a backdoor chance at a national title in a disappointing season. 
 

UNC wins 9 games out of nowhere, plays for a conference championship, finds a generational type of QB all during a season most people thought they would be lucky to be bowl eligible and within 24 hours their are players jumping ship and rumors circling that their players are all free agents. 
 

that’s the difference between a football school and school with a football team. What a time to be Alive (and a fan).

LOL  Dude I was just imagining the certificate hanging in the Dean's office.  That is funny as hell.
