I am legit surprised they called that play the way they did, because those are the trademark calls that usually go exactly the opposite way for us.

And props to Ickey. Wish we would've had him (in an alternate universe where he would be his grown version of himself now lol)  when Cam was still in his prime. That's what we needed.

The ref in the picture DEFINITELY threw the flag on us, but he was talked out of it in the conference.

Dying on the Sam darnold hill is……..well……..odd to say the least

I'm not dying on the hill but anyone who still calls him the problem I'd being dishonest.

The guy has played well this year. The only QB that has. And no Cmac to help him.

I think it was still On Horn though.  It was a great route that crossed the middle and up into the seam on Horn's side, if it was indeed a cover 3, which makes it a tough play in that safety and Horn based on where the route was at, because they have to figure out who was supposed to take it.

It was on horn but why the fug is he in zone?

lions have held their last 5 or whatever opponents to 80yds rushing. they sucked hard the first half of the year, but have been solid on both sides of the ball in their last 7 games.

They stopped the Jets.  The Vikings were so far behind they gave up on the run.  The Jaguars had a high average ypc, but once again were so far behind they gave up on the run.  The Bills lit them up, not that many runs, but a high ypc.  Their run defense hasn't been that great, teams just didn't run the ball against them as much.

Of course, I am not denigrating our performance today.  We have been dominant above and beyond any other team they have faced this year.  At least until the last few series.
