Me too. But I do not not want them to win a SB before we do. My empathy ends right there.

Agreed. Just pulling for the Jags tonight, and possibly next round depending on matchups. Prefer the Chiefs make it to the SB out of the AFC.

I gotta go with the Bills. I have alway had a soft spot in my heart for the Bills, especially since McDermott took over. I always thought Marv Leavy was underated as a coach back in the day.

They're showing Niners highlights right now. It's unreal how open those guys were getting. I guess that's what happens when you're both running the ball at will and have elite receivers. Oh, and a great offensive mind on the sidelines.

Explains why they could have Mr. Irrelevant at QB and be successful.

I bet PJ would even find success.

That is one VERY VERY QB-FRIENDLY System/Team/Coaching.

It’s why it was stupid for SF to trade all those picks for a QB back then.

This. Purdy deserves a ton of credit for playing as well as he has but he's in the perfect situation. It's a QB's dream.

I give them credit for taking their shot. They had a complete roster that gave them the luxury of taking that risk. It just look like they chose poorly. Imagine if Lance was the real deal. Could you imagine what this team could be doing with a truly elite talent at QB? Yikes.

The Niners QB, Purdy or whatever his name is, is the product of a competent coaching staff and administration that has a plan and knows what they are doing.

so basically the exact opposite of a team that gets a generational, superstar QB and thinks it’s totally cool to trot him out there behind Byron Bell and Nate Chandler.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
