At the time, our prospects were Shane Steichen, Steve Wilks and Sean Payton so it was a reasonable joke.

BUT ITS WRONG!!!

Yeah I had completely erased the near vomiting reaction I had to Payton being hired from my memory. Now I have to get that out of my mind all over again.

Not that I technically know what "My lean" means in context of whether it's a feeling or what someone's supposedly getting incite into

In that particular case, I'd say he was joking.

And truth be told, he had a pretty decent chance of being right.

He just wasn't.

Hey y’all. New acct, lost password, couldn’t get a recovery email…hey, it happens.

Hope everybody’s had a great new year so far.

We’ve been on top of the Panthers/Reich story on Fox Sports Upstate all week. Billy and I will also be doing a podcast next week, once we get a better sense of where they might be heading, re: staffing.

Augusta Stone from panthers.com stopped by today. Some good perspective from her end.

Great to be back—hope y’all don’t mind.

Welcome Back! Love your last episode of The Roar. Love the more emotional episodes.

You'll have to give me a break on this stuff. After the time I spent writing up my profile of Frank Reich, I was exhausted.

That was a long ass post even for me 😕

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
