Their passing is pretty close and Fields wins the rushing game and they are literally the same size.

We don't need to trade draft picks for either. We have a former NFL QB as Head Coach now, a guy who is similar to Andy Reid in what he can when given the chance to develop someone with a skillset. Someone like Matt Corral, Sam Darnold, or Anthony Richardson. 

So I'll sell you both of these dudes for a penny if it means taking out a 2nd mortgage at today's ridiculous interest rates on the future to get them.

Fields won the Big Ten Championship twice. Stroud never won it.

Take their strengths and invert them. Stroud is a much better passer than Justin. Its not that Justin can't ... but Stroud has some pretty special ball placement. Yes he had great receivers... but he still has to make the throws.

Stroud’s better between the ears.  Better processor.  Still good enough arm.

Fields is the much better athlete. Stroud is the much more polished passer.

There wouldn't be a comparison between the two if they didn't go to the same school. They're not very similar as players.

IDC about the big10 championship. The conference is weak overall. There's no real competition to OSU other than Michigan. Who finally got it done this year.

The reason Fields slid in the draft was due to his struggles against good defenses.

Stroud had one of his best games against a Juggernaut team in UGA.

I'd take Stroud over Fields 10/10.

I don't think Fields slipped due to struggling against good defenses. He ripped Clemson a new one and Clemson probably had the best defense in the country that year.

I think it was concerns about his processing.

Mahomes was 16-21 as a starting QB at Texas Tech. Who cares about team records when you're looking at individual prospects? We aren't looking to draft the team we're looking to draft the player. Watch the player not the team.
