Awesome hire. Very happy about this. I wonder if it means we're moving to a 3-4 front? If so, I'm curious if we seen Brown as a NT or an end.

He got exp in both 3-4 and 4-3. I believe it will some sort of both and I feel brown is a DE in 3-4.

Watch for the DL coach hire, that will be telling of the plan....

Reich seems not to be interested being the loudest voice in the room.  The smartest people in business say 'if you think you intelligent enough to do it all by yourself or surround yourself with yes men, you are doomed to failure.'  The most successful people surround themselves with the best and brightest, period.

Frank is assembling a freaking All-Star staff.

Seems like Tepper realized he needed to leave the football stuff to professional football people. His contribution is paying more than other owners

Mike Kaye and John Ellis have been digging into his defensive scheme.

Check their Twitter feeds. They have some good info.

    • Yeah man you watched someone else.  Styles is an excellent tackler and only missed like 1 or 2 tackles all year.  He is a freak athlete that can cover as well.  He is who I desperately want but no way will he be there at 19.   As to this draft there are only a handful of uber talent players (Styles, Reece for sure) so I would love to trade out of 19 if the opportunity is there.  Pick up a 1rst for next year.  I think its a fairly deep draft, especially on the defensive side but not a lot of "holy poo this guy is a game changer" players.  And for some reason I watched a lot more college football this year than I should have.
    • I’d like Gabe Jacas in middle rounds. Athletic 6’3” 275. Seems like he could be OLB in current system or traditional DE if we were to ever change back schemes.  2x state wrestling champ. I love having linemen w martial arts or wrestling backgrounds - they understand leverage and it shows on the field.
    • And Dallas can have him. Something about Miami just running straight at him over and over to a victory doesn't sit well with me. It reminds me of the Minnesota vs. Dallas game last year where Minnesota ran downhill at Parsons the whole game effectively taking him out of the game. We need another ILB leader and I believe that is CJ Allen out of Georgia. I would look to take one of the Miami OLBs who were coached by a HOF OLB in Taylor at 19 and get Allen in the 2nd.
