You can engage the receiver … you can’t grab them. As the commentator ref on the broadcast said to Greg… he isn’t being flagged for when JuJu was running up

field but rather when he was breaking out of his zig. So it’s either Greg’s right or the former ref.

Greg acknowledged it’s stilll a penalty, but as a fan he doesn’t want a game to end like that. Fans don’t get to choose outcomes of games.

it was a tick tack call…..but it was a penalty. Just bc it’s the Super Bowl doesn’t mean the refs should still not call what they see. No matter the moment.

Then call it all game long and not just on 3rd and long in the final two minutes. CBs get handsy on most plays with WRs and there can be brief grabbing but it really didn’t affect his route. Both contacts were minimal.

One last thing before I bounce. The half time show was horrible. Not one single music star joined the stage with Rhianna. I know she is much larger now maybe no one could fit next to her on that little stage.

She's pregnant you douche.

We get a different perspective than they do. You can feel that way.. there is nothing wrong with it. We are fortunate to have replay and slow motion… they get one chance from a single perspective to make the right call.

again, the ref didn’t make a bad call… he just made a call that us fans preferred he didn’t make at that point in the game.

    • Like every season we won't know anything until the live fire starts. However, I am impressed with the high level of optimism from everyone in the organization. Canales was even mentioning making the playoffs. Wow.

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
