Fox’s Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen More Than Lived Up to the Big Moment in Super Bowl LVII (SI)

Just like the best players don't always make the best coaches, the same is true for announcing.  It's a completely different skill set.  Tom is probably too bland to be good at it.  And nobody will tune in just to hear his voice on commentary.  You tune into a game to watch the game, and you are at the mercy of whoever is assigned to calling it.

Speaking of Fox Sports NFL Desk, it is time for Terry Bradshaw to be put out to pasture.  His question and answer session on the Super Bowl post game podium was next to useless if not cringe worthy.

Not to mention inappropriate...telling Reid to "waddle over". What a huge disrespect to one of the all time best NFL coaches.  Fox should have fired him and left him in AZ....in the middle of the desert.

I rarely watch CBS-aired games, but was Romo really that bad? He used to be really good at analysis and got that big contract as a result. What happened??

Romo has gotten lazy.  Does not prepare...seems to be winging it

Fox needs to overhaul their whole desk.  Two players that havent played in 30+ years and another who would rather be on a daytime talk show.  A coach who hasnt coached in this century.  Its all just a little too "grandpa's football show" for my tastes.  Add in the absolute cringe attempts at humor and the in your face gambling and its all just too much and way out of step.

    • Yes. I went to those games instead of selling In 2018, it was hot  as hell and the Panthers had some ‘entertainment on the side of the stadium, like a street fair…I have never seen so many seriously obese people, men and women, in cowboy leggings and shirts   I swear, it was traumatic  I said to my friend with me ‘dear god, Cam. In the name of all that is holy, please win  this home game, if you never win another one, to shut these people up.   I stayed in a hotel sat and Sunday near stadium. Sweet Jesus  obnoxious …of course, when they lose,, there isn’t one sign of cowboys anything   worst fans ever,  they will be in Charlotte in force because even at the escalated price in Charlotte, , it was still cheaper than attending in Jerry ville
    • Jags WRs have twice as many drops plus some as the next closest team.
    • Very true about Pennington but I don’t think anyone traded a haul to move up in the draft to get him, that’s what gets me about young. I mean essentially we gave up cmc and moore, our two best offensive players, one of which is arguably one of the best in the league. Gave them up for a guy who hasn’t shown any reason for us to give up the haul to get him. It’s year three and we are seeing the same mistakes he was making year one game one.
