He's got some connections to people that used to be part of the Panthers organization (Jared Allen and Norv Turner among others) but a cursory look at his career doesn't turn up any current links.

If he's serious about wanting to go to a contender, then that ain't us yet. Granted every FA says they want to go to a contender, but some are swayed when the money comes talking.

Unsure what his $$ expectations and if his football IQ is enough for Reich/Brown/Special Ops guy, but he might be available this coming week. 

I'm guessing too rich for our blood, he wouldn't fit a Reich-style QB and probably looking to be a long-term starter somewhere.

He wouldn't be my top choice, but wouldn't be disappointed if we ended up with him. Pair him with a bigger back like Charbonet or Roschon Johnson in the draft and we could be cooking with fire.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
