It’s almost been a decade since we’ve been competitive bozo. What do you think happens (if) we miss on this pick?

We miss on the pick, it doesnt take 10 years to recover from it though lol. We lost our first next year and a 2nd the following year and then we are clear again with all our picks, it will take 2 seasons to see if the QB is working or not anyway.

I expect a lot of smoke screening and articles saying how we love Levis or Richardson.
It is Young or Stroud. They are the best QBs who could either start day one or eventually the same season if we decide to let him sit for a while. Like Tua, which seems to help him.

Unless Fitterer pulled some insane move like trading back with the Colts.

I’m not sure how much smokescreen we will be giving off at this point. We can do whatever we want and there’s not a team that can stop us.

I’m with you, man. Although I do trust the staff, I’m very much getting my hopes up it will be CJ. Almost to the point where I’ll be disappointed if it’s not him

I will be slightly disappointed but they’ll have my trust.

Nobody can jump us. We got our guy. There’s no need for smoke and mirrors now.

Wide receivers are like running backs, you can find a productive guy almost anywhere nowadays.

That’s just not true. Running backs aren’t being given 20-25 million dollar a year contracts. ALOT of teams are struggling with finding wr. We’re in that majority HEAVILY.

    • We need to totally clean house, coach, gm, QB, and all leftovers like Caldwell etc.  Too bad Tepper won't do this.
    • It's not just a talent issue it's not just a scheme issue it's not just a playcalling issue it's not just a coaching issue. When you observe players basically going through the motions it says they don't believe in what they're doing and if they don't believe in what they're doing you evaluate every moving part and reassess. But you can't evaluate every moving part if the engine at the center does not possess the necessary ability for you to open up the entire field and keep the defense honest. What you see now is the result of three years of trying to build a system around this quarterback. All these players watch film together and see the same thing we do. And the only reason guys like TMac looked the way he did early on is because he is the newest part to the system. Only 4 games in and even he is starting to have the same body language. All this other rabble about what Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield are doing as if they are both very short and possess limited at best physical talent is just cope.
    • “I wanna see Canales with another QB” as if a new QB will fix all of this haha   welp… lets gear up for ruining another QB boyz
