Shy Tuttle - 6'3", 300 Lbs.

2022 Stats: 49 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 sacks, 3 QB pressures

2022 PFF Grade: 60.3

3-Year PFF Avg: 68.8

Fit: Shy Tuttle has been a superb run stopper at the 1-Technique spot in the Saints' defense, as well as occasionally rotating at 3-Technique based on the game situation. He's very energetic, athletic, and has outstanding play recognition. He'll do things such as chase down screens and attempt to deflect passes on a consistent basis. He'd be a great addition to a team like Cleveland where Jim Schwartz will be trying to maximize overall production from the defensive line.

Projected APY: $6.3 Million

No point in trading Corral with his value being likely a 6th or 7th. Try to turn him into a serviceable backup. He's Frank's orphan now.

I think it signals that he's just not part of the plans moving forward and is probably highly unlikely to be on the final roster. If we try to put him on the PS he'll likely get plucked. So if you can get a late round pick just take it and move on.

Unnecessary panic moment 😳

When the tweet popped up in my PC notifications, I saw "Falcons agreed to terms with Bradley" and just about sh-t myself 😄

Always wanted Pinion as our punter, I played rec league soccer with him and his brother as a middle school kid in cabarrus county.

I have a feeling we are going to overpay for Foreman.  I like the dude, but he ain't worth breaking the bank over, especially as a two-down back.  He's not dynamic enough to overpay.

Just curious, what do you think over paying him is.
Nick Chubb $12m

Tony Pollard $10m

Leonard Fournette $7 m

Najee Harris  $3m

There are numerous RB getting paid $1m range

He didn’t get to play much when CMC was here, He did rush for 900+ yards.

    • When I see those figures my stomach gets queasy at the thought of Bryce getting a similar deal. I think it would be a wise for the FO to speak to him and his agent before the deadline for 5th year option.  If Bryce expects a similar deal prior to his 4th year...or even after his 4th year...Morgan needs to try to work out a trade deal and move him.
    • I do hope Sonny Styles is available with our pick. Reese will go top-3, but Styles is a beast in his own right. His size next to Wallace would be a heckuva balance and he plays fast. My guess is Styles destroys the combine and goes top-8. Gotta hope the "taking an off-ball LB early" conversation causes a bit of a drop. It did with Campbell in last draft, so here's hoping Styles can last until the late teens/early 20s.
    • Teams can win in spite of bad offense.  In spite of bad defense.  In spite of bad ST.  In spite of being weak at corner.  In spite of weak WRs.  In spite of weak QB play.  like I said, what is taking place is the unique cherry pick where some fans say we can't state the obvious reality about the QB spot.  But look at Atlanta!  But look at these 3 throws in this game he was treated as a backup for every single other snap!  Exceptions don't make the rule or change the big picture. I have seen lots of your post, I don't recall you rushing to Philly Brown's defense when it was just matter of fact stated Cam Newton won NFL MVP/went to the Super Bowl despite a weak WR cast.  The entire board universally agreed the weak link to that roster was what it was.     I would reckon if I searched hard enough, I could find you making the same matter of statement that teams do in fact win in spite of very clear weaknesses.
