I'd say that's an overestimation, but either way, not in Reich's offense.

In 2021 (Reich’s last full season), the Colts ran shotgun 76 percent of their snaps. The lowest they ran it during his tenure was 64% in a year. The game is changing to a more horizontally focused game by the year.

Deep dropbacks combined with an "average" arm would definitely give me pause.

He drops back from the shotgun.  Those scouting reports are accurate.  This class has issues all around that will have to be overcome.  Height and arm strength are a big setback that cannot be ignored.  I'm not feeling good about the choices among the group.

Yeah the fact that he doesn't even have PJ's arm is a concern at the next level. He has more of a Teddy arm.

Bryce can throw ~55 yards if he puts his might into it but he’s mostly 5-15 yard general and he let his playmakers do the rest.  Similar to SF offense.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10067920-nfl-coach-bryce-youngs-arm-unimpressive-compared-to-richardson-stroud-levis

One NFL quarterbacks coach believes Bryce Young made the right call by not throwing at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday.

Speaking to The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, the coach said Young's arm strength would've been "unimpressive" compared to other top quarterbacks Anthony Richardson, C.J. Stroud and Will Levis.

The coach wasn't dismissive of Young's talent, but he said the things that make him special "don't show up in routes on air" because he's "not going off-platform or processing anything out there."

Richardson was the clear winner among the quarterbacks at the combine. He turned in arguably the greatest mix of performance and athletic traits in the past 20 years of the event.

Why I've said you take AR and hope you can fix his footwork. If it hits, you've got a superstar. If it doesn't hit you've got an exciting player who can run and can make deep throws off play action.

Both the other two top QB's have frame / size issues and with CJ there are other red flags for sure.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
