It measures how quickly you’re able to process things. Sort of an avenue of intelligence in a sense. Stroud squad  is crazy.

You got in your feelings about Levis receiving what you perceived to be "unnecessary hate", then proceeded to dish out the same level of hate towards Stroud, if not more. If Levis is your guy, that's fine, but you can't go crying about people making fun of him just to then respond by making fun of another QB. You kind of lose your manufactured moral high ground that way.

Levis isn’t my guy but it’s ridiculous that the dude posts a picture of himself bulking and a thread is made about it? I’m asking once again, had Stroud bulked up , would there be a thread saying “he should work on the mental aspect of the game more and stop bulking up” stop trying to validate the hypothetical crap.

His game film is also low hanging fruit.  I think its bananas, with the peel still on!

Once again, clearly stated, not going to argue the PLAYER but if we’re gonna just bash every single thing the dude does just to do it, is that really fair lol?

Wait, do you want me to answer your hypothetical question or do you want me to "stop trying to validate the hypothetical crap"?

Cam was cocky. I can't hate a player for thinking that way.

Now if he doesn't back it up, that's when you look stupid.

Cam won a high school championship

Won a national Championship as a backup

Went to Juco and won another championship

Then went to Auburn and won another national championship with no NFL players on offense.

Stop comparing Cam to these bums.

What if one of "these bums" wins a Super Bowl?

That was mock drafts, not the player rankings. People mocked Stroud to us for a bit but Young was still #1 on big boards. I was talking about consensus on rankings I thought the other guy was too.

#1 on most big boards early had Jalen Carter or Will Anderson. Vegas themselves after the trade had Stroud as our pick for weeks. Not Mock Drafts. Vegas. Young is the top QB among most mocks and such but most folks big boards before the off field drama with Carter had him as the best player in the draft.

Perspective on this year's QB class in general seems to be...less than positive.

Next years QB crop might be better than this years but I don’t think you’re going to be pulling more dominant defenders on the line than Carter and Anderson.

    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
