No, I'm reading actual information, and digesting it, and having an opinion formed from it.

If you really want to argue this much, but has so little substance, then you can keep on.

All you have said is not to blindly trust the staff. I’m just saying not to blindly trust the Kipers and McShays either. It works both ways. It’s really not that big of a deal.

That's fine, but that isn't going to change my mind. I don't need people to quote me to argue about it when I already know the front office chose this player, and obviously had their own internal reasons for it. It won't change my mind.

Yes Evero picked him. There is a video of him getting on the call full of excitement. DC picks defensive players. Makes sense.

Just reading scouting reports, he needs work on a lot, including tackling, and run game recognition. Unless these reports are wrong, this guy is completely developmental, and will need a lot time.

Trading up, using a fourth round pick, for a developmental shot in the dark prospect doesn't feel like it's filling a need.

Until they give me a reason not to I'm gonna trust our guys. Don't get so caught up in where TV analysts are ranking players.

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
