Hence the part where i said "as of right now"  meaning things could change. Burns is our only consistent pass rusher right now and there is need to get someone else close to his level. Good lord... comprehension is terrible around here.

Consistent isn't the word I would use for Burns either lol

He consistently gets the closest to the Qb on rushes, majority time nobody else gets close. If you thinking of sacks numbers alone thats not the best way to judge.

I've watched teams like the Pats, Seahawks and Steelers take guys earlier than predicted for years. Questioned on draft day, but pan out once they get under the tutalage of a talented coaching staff.

We've been denied this for years....it's a new era. I'll trust Evero and Capers here finding a compliment to Burns.

Id much rather take a risk that benefits the offense, than doing it for defense like we have been just about every year of our existence. It never got us any championships or back to back winning seasons. Its time to favor offense now.

Okay cool concept.

What "risk" was there at 80 on the offensive side at the ball?

Dude ran 4.49 at 260 and 6’4”. Lots of predraft stuff said he was raw and didn’t have the numbers. Glue him to Burns in TC. If Burns is going to get what we think, part of that will be getting raw talent to where they need to be. Especially a guy so similar in measurable that needs technique work. Coach him up.
