Im ready for some actual football. Tepper really is spending a lot of time in press trying to sell the fans after a pretty terrible start to his tenure here.

this is an exciting pick so I’m sure he’s going for a do lever, but I wish he’d fall back a little and just let the product do the talking. Sadly, Looks like he’s gonna be front and center again like he was at the start of the Rhule tenure.

Excuse me, James,  James here.

He isn't seeking the attention.  In fact he is deflecting it, and passing the credit to the football guys. It's the football guys that are then in turn, crediting the Teppers for how supportive they have been in this process.

2 James, 2 entirely different perspectives,  and.mine is based sorely on observations,  not hyper-bull.

That's pretty much how I see it as well.

Tepper didn't put that out. Person wrote it analyzing some of his statements.

It's an article, not a press release. Kinda hard to call that "attention seeking".

The league had asked that they wait at least five minutes.

So ESPN could have some extra time to babble on about absolutely nothing. They’ve pretty much made the process unwatchable. Teams are making picks and meanwhile, this Andy Reid look a like has center stage.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
