I will echo this. I went to fan fest for the first time in many years and just stared in awe like a 13 year old girl at a Taylor Swift concert watching Bryce.

He is so calm and comfortable in the pocket it's unlike anything I have ever seen take the field at QB for this team. Yes I'm aware it was Fan Fest but he literally has no flinch no panic and no extra movement in there. Yes I'm on homer hill but man this dude is going to be special.

I bet I'm not alone in sharing this experience. I went to Fan Fest for the first time since like 2013 this year. I went solely to see Bryce. He did not disappoint.

You can just tell he has complete control and is super comfortable back there

Earlier in the off-season,  after we had traded up to number 1.  Is when I serious took a hard look at top 3 QB's.

The more I watched and read of BY,  the more and more I got feelings of how special this kid is. Watching him, I truly got feels of Joe Montana, who will always be the GOAT in my eyes.

After that, there was no other choice.

Now everyone is seeing it first hand, just how special this kid is.  Plus his humility, will keep him striving to be the very best.

Thanks for sharing your camp experience.

Whatever happened to him anyways? I was a big fan of his pre game hype posts hope he’s okay…

I think someone around here still has contact with him. It was posted sometime back he's out there on social media somewhere doing his thing. He's left us behind for bigger and better things. I don't do social media so I can't keep up with his latest adventures.  I miss his crazy ass around here.

There is going to be a lot of Monday Morning Quarterbacking going on around these parts soon. One thing that struck me with Cam was the number of people who questioned his accuracy, and to some degree I did as well. That was until I sat in endzone seats on the first row of the second level and could see what he was seeing. So many times I could see him throwing around and over people that you just can't see on TV or on sideline seats. You hear TV announcers say "off-target" or "questionable" but then you see it how they see it and you get it.

I'd really like to get a solid seat right between the goal posts for a pre-season game to see how Bryce sees the game. A lot of judgments could be made seeing how he has to work the pocket and manipulate throws and arm angles to get the ball out.

And, as long as the Panthers offensive line is better than the Texans, it's probably going to be a race to OROY between Bijan Robinson and Bryce.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
