The OL and that's all I care about.  If they do not drastically improve, I wouldn't even play Young and let Dalton take the beating until they can remember how to block.  The OL play was atrocious.

Dalton made an early excuse to make sure he was not going to have to go in.

Properly critiquing the pass rush I think is going to be dependent upon whether Burns and/or Houston play tomorrow.  Ideally we'd have enough depth not to have to rely on them, but still it's very hard to properly evaluate your pass rush when you're missing your two best pass rushers (one of them being arguably the best player on your entire roster).

O-line for sure is fair game and something I think we'll all be keying in on.

I just want to see pressure on one side, and relieve pressure on the other. It’s hard to evaluate the offense if the line doesn’t show up again. And to do that we need the defense to get off the field often enough for Bryce to get extended drives. I can’t imagine Bryce and the starters play much in week 3 of the preseason so this is the time to let the ones play.

I think the Bills said Allen and the 1ns are getting the first quarter plus half the second quarter before coming out.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
