For as much time as Bryce had to throw I think he made too many mistakes.

I missed part of the third quarter but I counted an overthrow to Mingo on what could've been a bomb, and a lot of incompletions to WRs and RBs who were smothered. I saw two rookie mistakes, which every rookie makes, and an excellent S capitalized on both of them.

I can't recall another pass where the wideout was open for a gain, and the ball was way off. TMJ beat his man and stutter-stepped, which was truly impressive.

Sometimes I look at these guys around Young and i wonder if they're on his team or not, given how confused they are when on the field.

To be fair, the HC seemed confused a lot as well.

I wanna add in on Terrace "Devin Funchess" Marshall.

It's week one, maybe they'll gel more in the future. A few times were legit miscommunications.

But a year 3 WR giving up on routes is maddening. Yet wants to pop his chest for making the most basic fugin' catches.

Funchess did way more than Marshall has done

We don't have the WRs that can take the top off of a defense with Chark out, and to be totally honest I don't know how much of a difference he makes.

This team is already banged up with Chark, Thielen, and Sanders not at full speed.  We have 1 tight end who is actually competent in both phases of the run/pass game.

As for our D - we are going to get gashed by teams who can run the ball and lit up by teams who can throw it.  Atlanta is not a good team and we'll face much better down the line.

It's very possible that Mingo is the best WR by a mile, and he's awfully similar at this stage to Brandon LaFell (I don't mean that as an insult, LaFell was a passable WR2).

Thielen is Football Gordon Hayward, capable of some nice plays but gets open as easily as Ickey Ekwonu if you split him out wide.

Chark is Street Clothes.

TMJ, after two-plus seasons, gives off major Dwayne Jarrett vibes.

Smith-Marsette made two big plays, and both of them were for Atlanta.

Miles Sanders' lone big play was a lost fumble.

Enjoy your weapons, Bryce. The Huddle's blaming you for not carrying this title-contending lineup of future Canton enshrinees.

The young dude who has never called plays anywhere before?

Then don’t hire him.  Don’t hire a young exciting dude with potential from a great tree.  Whose 2nd half playcalling was better all preseason. Hire an experienced OC and let him do it.

Frank isn’t a good playcaller.  That’s not new.  He should focus on being the HC.  Was talked all preseason and when he first announced he would keep doing it here after getting fired for it

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
