I actually liked the fact Cam handled losing so poorly big picture.   The game meant everything to young Cam.  Most of the league is just business and paychecks in reality.

and late in his career he eventually became largely a textbook podium guy. And that’s also when the magic was gone.

People still complaining about losing press conferences and towels on sidelines are just telling on themselves. No clue how you could remain a fan of a team when you obviously hate the star player for a decade.

You and me both. I also loved when he tore down that Packer sign at BOA stadium. Cam was so passionate about winning and just football in general. It's a damn shame we wasted him and Luke's prime with Rivera.

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
